My practise is not just one niche, it is a whole experience.
From capturing the mundane moments and turning them into stories, to fantasy and whimsical art, to making your special moments into a fairytale experience. I focus on capturing memories worth remembering and creating a little whimsy to our reality.
CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE
Welcome to my “Between Reality and Fantasy” Monthly Print Club, a new subscription or one of purchase of my new collection of photographic prints integrated with a little whimsy. Blending the real world with stories as if they are crawling out of the photographs.
Each month, members will receive one of my original artwork captured through my lens and painted over in many different mediums with depictions inspired by fantasy books, shows and movies with future adventures and recommendation finding their way into the collection along the way.
Every postcard will be signed as a limited edition, making each month's artwork a small, collectible piece of my creative practice. My letter will be printed onto a whimsical custom piece of paper that can be used in your own craft and will include details about how the piece was created as well as some cute ideas to frame or use your artwork.
Alongside every print, I’ll share supporting materials inspired by books I’ve read and stories that inspired each piece. As someone with a deep love for reading, I often find myself seeing places, moments and photographs through the lens of the stories I’m immersed in.

Meet the Creative
Hi, I am Maria.
A Melbourne based creative that loves capturing the little moments and creating art that blends fantasy worlds into reality.
My passion for photography began in a darkroom in high school and very quickly developed from an expensive hobby to the way I see life. It was never about taking pretty picture but about creating time capsules of the real world I was experience.
Through it my practise has developed to sharing that with others, capturing their most important memories allowing to fully immerse themselves in the moment.
Whilst on the other hand, my art and commercial works are about blending memories, experiences and a little bit of whimsy to create a visual language that encapsulates the viewer to be curious with my work. My art is not just for fantasy readers but for all of us that wish to escape to other worlds and other places.
